Andrew is amongst the leading practitioners in branded content and has over twenty five years experience working in marketing communications. He is Global CEO of the Branded Content Marketing Association (BCMA), which is the pre-eminent global body for branded content practitioners, run by practitioners, promoting best practice, sharing knowledge and growing the branded content industry. He has been instrumental in developing the global content monitoring evaluation system which has been widely used by the industry. He is also responsible for spearheading the development and launching BCMA chapters across the world. Andrew is also Chief Content Officer (CCO) at Global Living Brands (GLB), offering clients global influence monitoring, strategic marketing, branded content creation & profile management. In his role as CCO, he is heavily involved in consulting, selecting and developing suitable branded content projects. Example – Virgin Media Business – Pitch to Rich 2015 – Winner International Content Marketing Awards 2015, Best B2B: Technology & Telecoms. He is co-author of the academic study, Defining Branded Content For The Digital Age and several other publications. Andrew lectures in Branded Content Marketing and regularly speaks at international conferences and has been on many international award judging panels. He is a member of the IPA’s Effectiveness Week Advisory Board. He is also an Advisory Board member of the Branded Content Research Network. In addition he is a member of the Brand Entertainment Cristal Academy. He was nominated as ‘Content Marketer of the Year’ in 2015 by The Drum. Andrew is married with three young children. He is mad about Watford FC and all things horological. He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers and has been awarded the Freedom of the City of London. He is also Co-Founder of MrWatchMaster, a new platform to ‘talk about watches’.
